MOOSE NIBBLES vegan dog treats

Well hello again!

Glad you made it this far, and if I haven't told you yet I am SO HAPPY you are here.

My name is Steve 'Chip' Brown and I am the founder, owner and sole operator of Moose Nibbles.

For the past 9 years I have operated a dog walking service out of my home in Sterling, Massachusetts, where I get to pretty much live out my dream job of hanging around with dogs all the time, including my own dogs.

The main reason I left my longtime newspaper job in 2014 in fact, was because I wanted to spend more time with my dog Moose, a feisty, mischievous, little ball of energy who I had adopted in 2009 and who quickly became my best friend and adventure partner.

Through Moose I became a volunteer at a local shelter where I became passionate about adoption and animal rescue, which led to me becoming at ethical vegan the same years I adopted her.

Basically, I really love dogs, and all other animals, too, for that matter.

I'm also REALLY good at making delectable dog treats from years of practice baking for my own dogs and all the dogs in my dog walking business.

So that brings us to the formation of my brand new cottage food vegan dog treat bakery that I will be running entirely out of my home, Moose Nibbles.

I named this company after my beloved dog Moose, who died on February 1st of this year, two months before what would have been her 16th Gotcha Day and after a long, hard winter.

She was the best friend I've ever had, my constant companion by my side for the better part of two decades, and she continues to guide my steps even now that her earthly body is no longer here.

She was also the first dog that really introduced me to pitbull love and how special the bully breeds are.

She truly was the most special dog I've ever known and I'm so grateful to have had so much time with her, but losing her has been the hardest thing I've ever had to go through personally and I wouldn't wish that sort of heartache on anyone.

I miss her so much it's hard to put into words, but if you've ever lost a soul dog, you know exactly how I feel unfortunately.

Moose loved ALL the treats I made for her, so it seems only fitting they this entire enterprise be named after her.

Please excuse the lack of availability for online sales at the moment.

I have been very  busy finishing up all the details that go into starting a cottage food business out of the home, as well as handling all of my dog walking duties full time during the day.

 If all goes smoothly, I should have my full product line complete with prices, sizes, photos, shipping information and full descriptions of each item within a month (by the end of June, 2025).

It will feel good to get all the logistical details sorted out and turn all my focus to hand crafting the superior dog treat that I've learned to bake perfection every time  after 15 years.
